Axen Print Spy - Features - Extracting Information

Axen Print Spy provides information about company-wide printing. This information may be selected and filtered accordingly to user defined criteria for each report type. All obtained information constitutes a valuable resource to implement a periodic inspection policy that may be used to control abuse or excess made by users.

Reports may be obtained interactively through Print Spy Administration Tool's interface or automatically exported using command line options, which allows to publish or manipulate them through customized scripts.

Several reports may be used to determine who, what, when, where and how much printed jobs cost.

The above reports generally present the following items:

● Date/time of printing

● Domain and user name

● Printer name

● Job name

● Number of printed copies

● Number of printed pages

● Cost of the print job

● Other job attributes (color, duplex, etc)
